The Best Time to Paint Your Home

Fall is a beautiful season, but it’s truly special. Crisp air, golden leaves and harvest celebrations all require a new look. You’re lucky if you want to give your house a new coat of paint. Fall is the best time. Although I am not a painter in woodstock ga myself, there are a couple of reasons that this is the best time to paint your house – visit us.

Let’s start with the weather. The fall is cool, but not freezing. Paint dries perfectly at the perfect speed, not too fast or too slowly. You may have painted during the summer and experienced the intense heat which dries paint quickly, leaving unsightly brushmarks. Winter’s freezing temperature slows the process down to a crawl. The moderate fall climate? The perfect temperature.

The next step is humidity, or the absence thereof. Autumn’s lower levels of humidity create the ideal conditions to paint both interiors as well as exteriors. A high humidity level can cause blistering or bubbling. Imagine painting a wall only to have it destroyed by water!

Another big advantage of autumn is the availability. The summer is a busy time for renovations in the home, so it’s hard to find qualified professionals. Fall is the time when schedules are clearer, allowing for faster bookings and perhaps even lower rates. Hardware stores are often having sales in the fall to get rid of summer stock, which could save you a little money.

Have you got any leaves? Did you think so? They’re beautiful, but they can also be a nuisance. You can use this to your benefit. You can do all of this in one step: Set up the ladder, brush your brushes and remove dead leaves. You can do more with less!
